Welcome to Timberwolves Basketball Club Cairns, where a strong community meets a passion for the game. Proudly representing players from across Cairns and surrounding northern beaches communities, our club brings together athletes and families who share a genuine love for basketball.

At Timberwolves we believe in a kids-first, family-focused environment. Basketball is more than just competition — it’s about building confidence, friendships, teamwork, and a lifelong connection to the game. Our club provides a safe and supportive place where players can learn, grow and enjoy every step of their basketball journey.

Our development pathway supports young athletes from U10 through to U19, with structured programs designed to build skills, confidence and game understanding. As players progress, opportunities exist to pursue representative and performance pathways within the wider basketball community.

With dedicated volunteer coaches, passionate families, and a strong club culture, Timberwolves continues to grow as one of Cairns’ most supportive and community-driven basketball clubs.
